Man, woman arrested for marijuana grow operation | News
TAKOMA PARK, Md. (WUSA9) -- Takoma Park Police have arrested two people on drug charges after the discovery of a marijuana grow operation.
According to police, 24-year-old Daniel J. Carroll of Silver Spring and 20-year-old Michelle Khoeun of Takoma Park are charged with Manufacturing Controlled Dangerous Substance (CDS) Marijuana and Possession of CDS Marijuana with the Intent to Distribute.
In January, members of the Drug Investigative Unit received information that Carroll was selling marijuana in and around Takoma Park. Then, detectives learned that Carroll had a "marijuana grow operation" at his home, according to police.
A search warrant was executed on February 5 at Carroll's home, say police. Detectives found a "marijuana grow operation" and seized "marijuana in an amount indicative of an intent to distribute," according to police in a press release on Thursday.
Carroll and Khoeun were in the room with the alleged "marijuana grow operation" and arrested.
